COMMITTEES Members interested in participating in one or more Committees listed below should email Secretary for details.
1. National Membership Committee. a. Jacques Loraine has assumed the duties of Chairman of our National Membership Committee and will coordinate the drive for new members just getting underway. He is searching for additional Committee Members to assist him with this vital program and would like to hear from anyone interested in joining his Committee. Send email to Editor *NOTE: All Committees must have a minimum of three members of which one must function as the respective Committee Chairperson. 2. Newsletter Committee. a. Annebel V. Lewis has assumed duties of Editor of the Association Newsletter "A TASTE OF THE CORPS" so don't forget to send in your sea stories, items of interest and brief bio on yourself for publication in the newsletter. Lets all contribute and make "A TASTE OF THE CORPS" a great success. Send all correspondence to Editor 3. Reunion / Business Meeting Committee...Chairman of the 2009 "Reunion / Business Meeting Committee" is Ed Gray who is coordinating and developing a location for the 2009 Reunion. We are committed to the Quantico, VA area and expect to have details available by May. Contact the Treasurer for additional information. Treasurer 4. Scholarship Committee... This committee, Chaired by Mr. Jim COKER and assisted by Mr. Jerry MORRISON has the awesome responsibility to evaluate all applicants for the Colonel William R. "Bill: Lucius Scholarship and the Rosalie Bonner Ritenour Memorial Scholarship and make recommendations to the Board of Directors concerning each applicant. The open application period runs from January 1, through April 30 each year and is open to all qualified children and grandchildren of USMCFSA Members. Detailed information about both Scholarships may be found at SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION. General questions may be addressed to the Treasurer USMCFSA.
