Charles A. (Chuck) Sullivan

Captain United States Marine Corps Retired

1950 – 1978

 

 Following his Marine Corps career of more than twenty-seven years and retirement in 1978, Captain Sullivan attended Orange Coast College and earned his degree in Hospital/School Food Services.  

 He was employed as Manager of the Food Service/Nutrition Department, University of California at Irvine California from 1980 to 1986 

 In 1986 he accepted the Position of Senior Head Cook with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and in 1991 was appointed to the position of Food Service Manager for the Orange County Jail System, a position he held until his retirement in April, 1998.

 Chuck and his wife Julie relocated to Henderson, Nevada after he retired from Orange County. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren.

 Both Chuck and Julie are Founding Members of the U. S. Marine Corps Food Service Association and Chuck served on our Board of Directors from January 2001 through  October 14, 2005.
