2009 REUNION

REUNION PLANNING

August 19 thru 23, 2009

QUANTICO, VA

Plans are underway for our 2009 reunion at Quantico from 19 to 23 August where our focus will be on the National Museum of the Marine Corps which will cater our Presidents Dinner on Day I and Farewell Breakfast Buffet on Day Vat the Museum.

Arrangements have been made for lodging at the Crossroads Inn at Quantico.

Arrival & Check in 1300 Crossroads Inn, Quantico, VA
Presidents Dinner 1700 - 1900 National Museum of the Marine Corps
Private Museum Tour 1900 - 2100 National Museum of the Marine Corps

DAY-II Thursday, Aug 20, 2009
Continue Museum Tour 0900 - 1600 National Museum of the Marine Corps
Dinner 1800 - 2100 New Globe & Laurel Restaurant, Triangle, VA
Awards presentation following dinner.

DAY-III Friday, Aug 21, 2009
No morning schedule to permit recovery from Day II and perhaps an Exchange visit or tour of Quantico.

1600 – Board bus to 8^th & I for the “Evening Parade”

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS:

The above information is provided in order for members to plan to attend our fifth reunion.

Please make every effort to attend what we believe will be an exceptional event with maximum attendance.

By completing and returning the attached survey , you will greatly assist the Committee to accurately estimate attendance.

All Food Service Marines are invited to attend. Non-members should contact Ed Gray at edwingray@comcast.net for additional information if required.

Members planning to attend will receive a second Reunion Information/Planning Kit during February 2009 with specific details and Final Agenda.

Please respond no later than September 30, 2008.
